Kandi Hall
Founder/Chairwoman

Kandi Hall, a Hampton Roads native and two-time Norfolk State University graduate, is an accomplished IT professional specializing in implementing innovative solutions. An award-winning business leader, she holds PMP, CSM, SP, ITIL, and CSCP certifications and excelled as a Managing Consultant at IBM. In 2015, she founded The Integrated Pro®, partnering with clients to implement innovative solutions. In 2023 launched the Kaleb Cares Foundation® to enhance community health and financial wellness. Kandi is deeply involved in professional organizations and community service and is a proud wife and mother of three, including twins. She enjoys fitness and traveling.

Clayton Hall
Vice Chairman

Clayton Hall, a Chesapeake, Virginia native, is the proud son of Clayton and Jessie Hall and brother of Micah Hall. He serves as a Source Inspector for Huntington Ingalls at Newport News Shipyard. A Virginia State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, Clayton is a dedicated member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Lambda Gamma Gamma Chapter in Fort Meade, Maryland.

Passionate about uplifting inner-city youth, Clayton has served as a youth advisor for Atlanta’s Boys and Girls Club, a Respite Care Provider at Barry Robinson Center, and as a teacher in DC Public Schools and Chesapeake Public Schools.

He cherishes time with his wife, Apryl Hall, and their children, Tyler and Nadia. Clayton credits his faith and family for shaping his purpose-driven life.

Terri Macklin
Secretary

Santerria "Terri" Macklin, born in New York and raised in Virginia, holds a degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from Saint Augustine’s University. She spent over 20 years in IT healthcare with 1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds, supporting over 450,000 members, and later served as Editor-in-Chief of Lexington Style Magazine, combining her passions for communication and service.

Known for her compassion, Terri has consistently prioritized family and community, dedicating her life to helping others and making a positive impact. Her journey reflects a commitment to connection, compassion, and meaningful contributions, remaining steadfast in her purpose of serving those around her.

Latasha Nixon is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of experience spanning the private, public, and non-profit sectors. A graduate of Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from Strayer University, Latasha combines strong financial acumen with a passion for mission-driven leadership.

Her career began in public accounting with KPMG and Grant Thornton, where she developed deep expertise in auditing, financial compliance, and internal controls. She has since advanced into senior financial management roles, applying her skills in budgeting, strategic planning, and performance improvement to drive fiscal responsibility and organizational growth.

Dyanna McMullen
Director

Dyanna McMullen, is the Director of Procurement and General Services for Alexandria City Public Schools, where she leads a dynamic team.  Dyanna obtained her Masters in Management with a concentration of organizational behavior from Troy University and a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Norfolk State University. Dyanna is a Certified Public Purchasing Buyer (CPPB) by the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing and a certified Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO), by the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Dyanna is also on the board of Directors for Beautiful Mindz Makin Changes a non-profit focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged individuals within Hampton Roads.  She enjoys community service, gardening, traveling, and time spent with family.

Naima Cochrane
Director

Naima Cochrane is an award-winning music marketer and a prominent voice in Black music and culture, known for her storytelling expertise. A 20-year industry veteran, she worked with groundbreaking acts like Beyoncé, John Legend, and Tyler, the Creator at labels including Bad Boy, Arista, and Columbia Records. After transitioning to management for artists like Cynthia Erivo, she created the viral #MusicSermon series in 2017, sparking collaborations with outlets like Billboard and the NY Times and partnerships with Spotify and Sirius XM.

A marketing consultant and founding board member of the Black Music Association, Naima advocates for systemic change in the music industry. She also teaches at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, shaping the next generation of creatives.

Phil Thornton

Phil Thornton is a fearless entertainment executive and producer, celebrated for his groundbreaking contributions to music, television, and film. A Norfolk, VA native, he began his career interning at Arista Records at 15, later managing GRAMMY-winning artists and producing acclaimed projects like Surviving Compton and Never Would Have Made It: The Marvin Sapp Story. Thornton held executive roles at RCA Inspiration and Capitol CMG, collaborating with artists like Kirk Franklin and Marvin Sapp.

In 2024, he co-founded Three Diamonds, a media company creating content for underserved audiences. His Emmy-nominated podcast We Sound Crazy features iconic guests like Mary J. Blige and Usher. An active philanthropist and Kappa Alpha Psi member, Thornton remains inspired by his faith and passion for storytelling.

Charles F. Coleman Jr. is a leading civil rights attorney, social justice expert, and corporate advisor specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion. A former Brooklyn prosecutor, he transitioned to focus on Equal Employment Opportunity law and addressing workplace challenges like bias, race equity, and cultural sensitivity. Coleman has guided Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and universities, including the NFL, PepsiCo, and Harvard, in building inclusive cultures and retaining top talent.

An acclaimed media analyst, Coleman’s insights on race and justice appear in outlets like CNN, The New York Times, and MSNBC. He is the Executive Producer of the Charles Coleman Podcast and owner of Black Brilliance 360. Coleman is a proud two time graduate of Howard University and currently resides in Brooklyn, he’s a Star Wars fan and sneaker enthusiast.

Adrian Frederick
Director

Adrian, a real estate developer and attorney with a J.D. and M.B.A. from The Ohio State University, has over 15 years of legal experience advising businesses across industries such as fintech, IT, retail, and pharmaceuticals. His passion for construction led him to become the CEO of Storied, a corporate housing provider, and Lisle LLC, a construction company. Adrian designs, renovates, and constructs high-value properties, having renovated over 50 units. He now focuses on university assets, serving as a general contractor for major capital projects. Adrian serves on various boards, including Primary One Care and Franklinton Rising, and is an Elder at New Covenant Believers’ Church. He is married with two children and enjoys traveling, swimming, and reading.

Clayton Hall
Vice Chairman
